Linda and Laurie Greene will host the 8th ANNUAL HOLLY JOLLY FUNDRAISER at their beautiful home on Sunday, December 3rd from 3:00 to 5:00.


Back by popular demand, the Eighth Annual PAWC Holly Jolly Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, December 3rd from 3-5 PM. The festivities will take place at 7790 Pine Trace Drive, Sarasota 34243. Tickets are $25 per person and include wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Get into the holiday spirit as you support your community. Bring family and friends. All money earned is used for scholarships and grants. Get your tickets at the PAWC luncheons or place your Holly Jolly check, in an envelope addressed to Carol Darling, in the PAWC mailbox by the PACC reception desk. ANN MORRISON WILL USHER IN THE PAWC HOLIDAY SEASON DEC. 15TH.


The Palm-Aire Womens’ Club is excited to announce that award winning actress Ann Morrison will make her PAWC debut at the December 15-th holiday luncheon. Ann will help the club celebrate the season and get into the holiday spirit..


Ann has been a professional actress for 45 years. Early in her career, she auditioned for the role of Mary Flynn, in the Harold Prince and Stephen Sondheim musical, Merrily We Roll Along. She won the role and hasn’t stopped since. Her debut earned her the Theatre World Award. She has starred in Sondheim on Sondheim, Into the Woods, Peter Pan, Peg, Guys & Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, and many, many more shows. She won a Best Actress Award for her solo play Linda Lovely Goes to Broadway. She co-founded Sarasolo Productions, which celebrates solo theatre artists. Ann even played herself in the 2017 documentary Best Worst Thing That Ever Could Have Happened. What better way to celebrate the holidays!


This event is certain to be fun and exciting so be sure to bring your friends. They won’t be disappointed. Also at this luncheon, the PAWC is working with Hope Family Services and requesting unwrapped toys. Hope Family Services works with people trying to escape domestic violence. This organization empowers individuals to be independent, allowing them to them to escape abusive situations.


The PAWC is requesting that members make sure their dues have been paid. Late payments cause omissions from the PAWC directory and actually limit the number of scholarships and grants this club can provide. For more information and to check your status, contact membership chair, Katherine Pike.


The Palm-Aire Women's Club (PAWC) Annual Fashion Show Luncheon and Fundraiser, “STEPPING OUT,” is scheduled for February 23,2024 at the Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota. This event is open to the community and will feature SUMMER SMITH, ABC NEWS ANCHOR 7 as co-emcee. This fashion show puts the "fun" in fundraising, with proceeds benefiting scholarships for State College of Florida, Manatee Technical College and providing grants to local qualified charities.


The fashion show will feature fashions from Darci Jacob's boutique, Darci’s on Main Street in Sarasota. Tickets are $75 and must be purchased in advance by check or credit card. Members can purchase tickets at the October through January monthly PAWC meetings. You may also contact Pawc2023@gmail.com to arrange the purchase of tickets.
