MANATEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER STUDENTS WILL RING IN THE SEASON AT THE DECEMBER 10TH PAWC HOLIDAY LUNCHEON


The 6th Annual Holly Jolly will take place Sunday, December 12TH at Carolann Garafola’s beautiful home.


The December 10th Holiday Luncheon will offer special seasonal entertainment provided by student performers from the Manatee Performing Arts Center. Under the direction of award -winning Rick Kirby, they will celebrate the season with joyful holiday selections that highlight the talents of this outstanding choral group. Many of Mr. Kirby’s former students have become professional performers.


This festive luncheon should not be missed. Due to cost increases beyond our control, tickets are now $30 including entertainment and lunch. Checks should be sent to the PAWC, PO Box 21051, Bradenton, FL 34204 or left at the PAWC mailbox in the Palm Aire Country Club office. Checks must be received by December 9th. At this luncheon, the PAWC is working with Hope Family Services to request gifts for TEENS. Donations of gift cards for local stores and/or fast-food restaurants as well as teen-themed items are welcome. Hope Family Services works with people trying to escape domestic violence. This organization empowers individuals to be independent, allowing them to them to escape abusive situations.


December 12th, the PAWC is planning to hold the 6th ANNUAL HOLLY JOLLY from 2-5. Former President Carolann Garafola has generously offered to open her beautiful home to host one of our most popular fundraisers. Tickets are only $20 per person and include wine, non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers and desserts. Please bring family and friends. This is a wonderful chance to get into the holiday spirit as you support your community. All money earned goes back into the community. At the November Luncheon, Salea Rivera-Martinez and Brian Geurrero from The Sarasota Cuban Ballet School performed highlights from The Nutcracker. Their performances were outstanding, and all felt that these students would soon be dancing professionally.


The Mix and Mingle events are extremely popular and have led to many new members. Each month different members host members, potential members and guests. It’s a fantastic way for present and future members to get acquainted. Everyone is guaranteed a wonderful time. Don’t miss the next one. Please check emails for dates and times.


The PAWC was founded more than 60 years ago to help others and make a significant difference in the community. Over the years this club has used its fundraising skills to aid local charities as well as provide scholarships to deserving students. Working together to achieve common goals has also helped members to find and keep friends.
